Kate Robertson is a communications expert whose aim is to assist organisations and businesses to create and implement marketing and communications strategies.
Utilising her background as a journalist, with employers including ABC Radio and several newspapers in Australia and Japan, Kate is also adept at generating positive publicity for businesses and organisations.
Kate enjoys creating the structure and content of websites to achieve organisational outcomes and her work has covered the gauntlet of media platforms, from traditional news media to social media; one of her recent Facebook posts generated 260,480 views on the RCH website before attracting an additional 558,336 views when re-posted by Victoria Police.
Well-versed in all areas of the production of major publications, including liaising with photographers, designers and printers, Kate has project managed and written several Quality of Care Reports, Annual Reports, Health Care Award nominations, e-newsletter and other marketing and communications collateral.
Kate’s attention to accuracy has been honed whilst working as a producer/presenter for ABC Radio and as a sub-editor for newspapers in Australia and overseas. The NT Police, Fire and Emergency Services, Austin Health and The Royal Children’s Hospital all provided Kate with issue-rich environments to hone and demonstrate her ability to manage potentially adverse publicity – and to act with integrity at all times.

Kate graduated from RMIT with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and has also completed a Diploma of Health Sciences at Victoria University of Technology and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment at the Centre of Adult Education.
